I hold a BEng and a PhD from Loughborough University. I joined SCITEK in 2005, having previously worked at Jaguar Cars for 5 years. For seven years I was responsible for delivering all aspects of projects from quoting and specifying to delivering the finished solution. This included research studies, fluid mechanics, mechanical design, developing software in LabVIEW and experimentation. As the company has grown I have moved into a more supervisory role sitting between the MD and the team of consultants as Operations Director. In 2023 I took over as Managing Director of SCITEK. Whilst I still have technical input into projects I am now more involved in resource planning, managing projects and ensuring that the customer is satisfied whilst we remain within budget and typically tight timescales.
Outside of work, I enjoy trail and fell running as well as mountain biking.
